Shannon Butcher is an acclaimed Canadian singer, songwriter, arranger and record producer.  She charms audiences with her joyful wit and warm energy.  Shannon has released five albums under her own label Summer Bloom Records, her first album earning an iTunes’ Best New Jazz Artist of the Year award.  Her songs are in high rotation on CBC and JazzFM.91 and can be heard on radio stations across the world.

Shannon is proud to be an established part of the Toronto jazz community both as a performer, coach and educator.  Along with her own private voice studio, Shannon has been on the music faculty of Humber College and Mohawk College while currently holding a position at Toronto Metropolitan University. Over the years she has worked with National Music Camp and youth choirs such as Young Voices Toronto and La Jeunesse. 

As a performer Shannon has been in a fixture in major festivals in Ontario, toured across Canada, and performed across The United States and in England.
