Executive Director
To me, “The Spirit of Voice” means the unique connection of a community coming together and finding fulfillment, empowerment, and joy when sharing music with one another.

Assistant Executive Director
There is nothing like singing together in an ensemble. The unity, the community, and the joy it brings makes one feel that there is renewed hope in humanity. There is no opposition or conflict; differences feel collective and celebrated, and the truth is, everyone matters. “The spirit of Voice” is powerfully healing and personally freeing, every time.

The “Spirit of Voice” to me is providing singers with the opportunity to express themselves through song in an environment of kindness, support, and encouragement for growth. Singing with others is an incredibly powerful and unique experience: the source coming from within the human body - so individualized and layered with emotion, then resonating in combination with other voices creates a transcendental experience.
-
Jazz Festival Coordinator“The Spirit of Voice” to me is the pure joy that can only be felt when making music with others
