Jennifer is a Canadian music educator, conductor and performer who has worked to develop musical talent with students of all ages. Jennifer studied at The University of Western Ontario with a focus in Early Music performance, at Humber College for Vocal Jazz Studies, and at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.

Jennifer is an accomplished jazz singer, having performed at many top jazz clubs in Toronto, as well as for television, film, and voiceover work. Currently in her 28th year of teaching within the public school system, Jennifer is the Vocal Jazz Studies specialist for the Regional Arts Program at Mayfield Secondary School in Caledon, Ontario, where she conducts a 200+ voice mass choir and three vocal jazz ensembles. Over her 18 years at Mayfield, Jennifer’s ensembles have worked some of Canada’s top jazz artists and received numerous accolades, including being three-time winners of the CBC’s Canadian Music Class Challenge. Jennifer was a judge for the CBC’s National competition in 2022 and is the Provincial Co-Coordinator of the Ontario Vocal Festival’s Jazz/Contemporary division.
